The extra large overlay pad of the advanced digital control panel makes operating your spa a dream – easily adjusts jets, pumps and temperature with the simple touch of a button for a reliable and speedy performance.

Energy Efficient

The Grand Rapids spa is designed to save money and energy by preventing heat loss: the spa boasts a reinforced heavy-duty vinyl outer cover to ensure the PVC inner liner is completely protected from accidental damage and to reduce heat loss through the spa itself. The included 6″ thick inflatable cover rests on top of the spa – not on top of the water – creating an insulating air barrier. The cover also features a 6″ skirt and lockable straps to create a seal, maintaining the heat within the spa generated by the 1940W heater.

Weather Resistant

Built of sturdy and durable marine-grade vinyl, our inflatable spas easily cope with the coldest depths of winter and the heavy heat of summer. Our spas are able to withstand almost any weather conditions and are suitable for outdoor use all year round.

As with all hot tubs it is important to check and ensure the chemical level in the water is correct and the filtration is doings its job. Simple regular checks can be made on the water using Test Strips which will show any adjustment required in the PH or Chlorine level of the water and just by adding a small amount of the correct chemical will keep your water nice and clean. All hot tubs will require a filter to capture unwanted debris and are essential in maintaining the water flow by keeping the pump working to its correct capacity. The filter should be taken out and cleaned on a regular basis and therefore it is recommended to have a spare filter to hand so your spa is constantly protected. Unlike hard shell spas the inflatable hot tubs do not have moulded seating so always a nice touch is to take a look at some water inflated cushion seating for extra comfort or jut as a booster for the kids.

Misshapen Top Ring – Uneven Ground

Fast set pools must be set up on level ground.

Misshapen Top Ring – Not Yet Full

The pool needs to be filled to 80% capacity.

Misshapen Top Ring – Over Exposure to Sunlight

Over exposure to sunlight can cause the top ring to expand and become deformed. The fast set pools should not be placed in direct sunlight, unfortunately, this is not covered under the warranty.

Fast Set Pool General Maintenance

General Maintenance

  • The fast set pools need to be set up on level ground.
  • The filter pump should not be used when the pool is in use.
  • To set up, inflate the top ring, and fill with water.
  • When filling the pool, please ensure all creases are removed from the base of the pool
  • To clean the pool, we would recommend using diluted washing up liquid as this is a non-abrasive cleaner
  • For all pools, we recommended using chemicals to keep the water clear, bacteria-free and to avoid algae build-up

Liner Troubleshooting For Bestway Steel Pro Framed Pools

    Reasons Solutions
Liner is punctured (please note punctures are not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty) To locate the puncture on an inflatable liner it is best to apply diluted washing up liquid from a spray bottle to the surface of the whole liner and around the inflation valve. Bubbles should appear where the puncture is located.
To fix a puncture you will require a repair kit. We would suggest using a waterproof repair patch or epoxy vinyl glue.
Leaking Liner Make sure the pool is set up on a level ground surface so the pressure from the water is equal throughout the liner. Also check for any debris or sharp objects which could cause harm. The first thing to check if you suspect the liner is losing water is to monitor the water level by filling it to the maximum line and gauging how quickly it drops. There may be a split seam or issue with the drainage plug causing the leak. If the pool has a filter pump we would suggest checking the hose connections are sealed correctly.
Bulged Liner (Fast Set Pools) Deflate the liner slightly to eliminate the bulging. Please be aware changes in the ambient temperature outside will cause the air inside the liner to expand or contract. On hot summer days we would suggest deflating the pool ring slightly. On colder winter days you may notice the liner looks a little soft and needs some more air.
Discoloration or colour has faded Products such as washing detergent, moisturiser, deodorant, make-up, sun lotion or fake tan can cause discolouration. We would suggest showering before using the pool to avoid this. If the problem does occur you can use washing up liquid, stain remover or miracle pads to remove stains or marks.
We would not advise that the pool is left in direct sunlight. We would suggest setting the pool up in a shaded spot or using a gazebo or canopy to help protect the pool.
The liners have been tested for discolouration due to chemicals and it would need at least 5 times the advised amount of chemicals to cause any bleaching or loss of colour. To avoid this we suggest that the pool is dip tested with the Clearwater test strips daily to check chemical levels.
Mould Mould can occur if the pool is not completely dry when folded or put away. Humidity and dampness can cause mould to grow due to stagnant water.
By keeping the water treated with the correct chemical levels, drying the pool liner completely when it is packed away and maintaining the pool in a clean state when in use you should avoid issues such as this. However, should the problem arise we would advise to use a solution of water and washing up liquid or stain remover to remove the mould.

If the troubleshooting does not resolve the problem, please contact the aftersales team for further advice and so we may assist further. If you are no longer within your warranty period,

Frame Troubleshooting – Rusty / Mis shaped Pool

    Reasons Solutions
Misshapen Pool This is normally caused when the pool is not set up on flat level ground. We would suggest moving the pool to a different site and setting it up again. Leaving it like this can cause a lot of pressure to build on parts of the pool which could cause it to collapse. Please make sure the pool is not set up on gravel, sand, chippings or other uneven ground types. This type of damage is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty so you may need to replace parts.
Bent poles This is normally caused either by the pool not being set up on flat level ground or someone standing or leaning on the frame of the pool. We would suggest moving the pool to a more suitable location. We would also advise that you do not stand on the frame of the pool, the ladder must be used for entering and exiting the pool. This type of damage is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty so you may need to replace parts.
Frame bending inwards This is normal. The pool will bend inwards until the pool has been filled up to 80% capacity. Please see the pool manual for more detailed information and images.
Rusty Frame The frame is covered in a rust resistant coating in order to avoid this. Please make sure the poles are completely dry when they are stored. Any damage to the poles such as scratches or bent parts can cause the coating to crack causing rust. This type of damage is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty so you may need to replace parts.
Poles stuck to liner Please try to remove as many poles as you can from the liner. Photograph any damage to the liner and poles. You will need to contact Bestway Support for further assistance with this issue.
